4 girls + a sunny friday afternoon + free lift tickets to Steven's Pass = A GREAT start to the weekend!

So me, my roommate and 2 other girls from 6th left after class yesterday and headed up to the mountain! It was a gorgeous drive: sunny and blue skies! And once we got to the mountain it was even better! Hardly anybody was there in the afternoona nd we had almost no lines :) More people started showing up during the night skiing, but it still wasn't bad at all.

And, if any of you are like me and haven't been up tp Steven's recently, they no longer have lift tickets that you stick on the metal clip, its a card with a magnetic chip and you go through this detector every time you get in line for the chair lift. I was quite impressed, technology just keeps on changing :) We stayed till almost 9, so we got some great night skiing in too :D and had a safe drive back to campus!

Hopefully I'll see you all in 6 days at the wedding! :) Love you all!!!

Time for some red and pink :)

So for our Valentine's Day Eve some girls from my floor dressed up in as much pink and red as we could and we went to Red Robin for dinner.

My mom's flourescent pink, spandex from the 80's came in handy once again :)

This isn't the whole group (sorry) we took separate cars, but here's some of us!

Dinner was great and we definitley got lots of weird looks and second glances lol
And I think we're all excited for the 3 day week, which for me will be spent studying for my anatomy midterm :)

Oh and Happy Anniversary to our parents! You guys are so great! I don't think we can thank you enough for ALL that you do for us!

TUBING at Snoqualmie!!!

Last night a bunch of people from my floor and our brother floor went up to Snoqualmie at The Summit to go tubing as a brother-sister floor bonding night :) It was gorgeous! I had never been there before so it was my first time too!

And just for my mom: they had separate runs with snow "barriers" in between, so I was safe ;)

Oh and probably my most exciting news is that I turned in my nursing application yesterday!!! For the lucky ones who didn't have to read, re-read and read my essays again, didn't get to see all the steps, but thanks to Tasha who did! But yes, it is very exciting and SUCH a relief to have it done and completed and turned in - early I might add :) But really, it is. So hopefully I'll find out over Spring break, but it might not be till I get back to school, so we'll see!

A small look into the life of a pre-nursing student

So in case any of you were wondering what I'm studying right now thought I'd show ya a a few pictures of what I took in lab this morning.

This is "Spaghetti Man." He has is made of a bunch of rubber wiring and tubing and has all the veins and arteries that we have to know with a few organs as well :)

A little breather after midterms :)

Well I thought I should post some pics of the one night I actually wasn't in my room studying, so here they are. And you should prob know that this was the night after our Anatomy & Physiology midterm so most of us didn't have much of a weekend and our brains were fried! But it was also Sara's (wearing the crown & one of my roommates from last year) 20th Birthday so Stacey DeJong and I took her out to Red Robin to celebrate :) It was refreshing to hang out (and have dinner outside of Gwinn) so that we could gear up for the rest of the week :)

First bath & family

We gave Bryce his first bath and he wasn't suite sure about it all. With Brock standing on a chair looking on, me with the camera and Tasha actually bathing him it was quite the crowd I'm sure!

Well I'm back at school now and offically started Winter quarter today. My mom and dad drove me down last night (their second trip to seattle, back to back days) and when we came to campus it was a winter wonderland! Despite the blizzard going on outside they braved the weather and made it home safely! Thanks again dad and mom! You're truly the BEST!
